Programs
Below are some programs that OzonePlus has initiated to reduce climate change.
EcoNourish
This program involves stores donating food that is nearing its sell-by date to local homeless shelters. We've collaborated with businesses such as Wegmans, Four Season Pastry, and others to contribute to this food donation effort.
If your organization wishes to receive or contribute food, kindly reach out to us at contact@ozoneplus.org
EcoRevive
OzonePlus's innovative initiative, the EcoRevive, is dedicated to recycling and repurposing items that might otherwise be discarded. We are proud to collaborate with the Salvation Army and Loudoun Library, offering convenient drop-off locations for a range of donated items, including clothing and books from our communities.
We have also been Sponsored by Securis, an Electronics recycling company, to do monthly electronics recycling events at our local high schools, communities, and stores, bringing free electronics recycling to the residents of NOVA.
EcoEnrich
The EcoEnrich program stands as a central mission for OzonePlus. A main staple of the EcoEnrich program is composting. Composting involves the process of transforming organic materials (such as banana peels and apple cores) into nutrient-rich soil for plants, thereby reducing the significant waste directed to landfills
Our concept involves collaborating with HOA boards, restaurants, and local stores in Loudoun County to introduce community compost pick-up services. Presently, we are engaged in discussions with several HOAs within the county.
